The holiday season has arrived early here at Valerie Garrett Interiors! We’re thrilled to be participating in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles’ 2020 Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse. A shingle-style, Nantucket cottage by Harrison Design, KBD Development & Construction and The Jane Group, this year’s home is nestled in Ivy Ridge, a luxury community in the heart of Buckhead.

& BEHIND THE SCENES
When I learned I would be designing one of the showhouse’s bedrooms, I knew I wanted to create a space that felt like a true escape.
I’ve nicknamed my concept “Breakfast in Bed” because that’s exactly the kind of environment I want to create: a cozy retreat for two that’s perfect for savoring a slow weekend morning— preferably with a cup of coffee and a Sunday paper.
