Reflecting on 2021
As we come to the close of 2021, I am keenly aware of what a gift it is to me to do design. I derive such a keen sense of purpose in creating environments that elevate people’s lives. It’s a passion for me. And, to me, it’s also such a beautiful dance that I get asked to step into every time I create a new project for my clients. I tee off them, they tee off me, and it’s always something new and beautiful.
I consider our homes to be our most special places, and so there’s something very personal and signi cant to me in creating homes for my clients that are beautiful, exceptional and meaningful. I believe in doing so, I get to be a part of elevating their lives.
Some people say design is a luxury, but I disagree. To me, that’s like saying we don’t need all the colors of the rainbow. I think that our environments matter, and they have such a beautiful impact on our lives.
To my clients, my team, my vendors and my design colleagues—I just want to say thank you with a grateful heart. You matter to me!
