How does one measure an entire year? That question has been on my mind quite a bit lately as 2016 came to a close and we look ahead to new beginnings. But, I like to measure it in appreciation, gratitude, and love.
Spring is in full beautiful bloom and soon we’ll be sliding right into the glorious days of summer. And with those long days come lazy afternoons, easy evenings and leisurely nights, all of which make summer perfect for outdoor living. And that ties right in with one of design’s most current trends: bringing the indoors outside.

I’m a lover of traditions. Somehow, I think they ground me to who I am and what I care about. And whether they’re cultural, religious, or personal, traditions are comforting to me as well as being meaningful and joy filled. This is also true of work traditions. One tradition I look forward to every December, and think about during January, is Pantone’s announcement of their color of the year.
